Meet The Team

Barbara Brunner Pereira

Founder & CEO

Barbara, a graduate of Texas A&M University with a distinguished career in the global financial sector, has transitioned her focus towards the CRETIO Foundation, aiming to connect young professionals with the Holy Land's heritage and opportunities. Through CRETIO, she facilitates educational programs and immersive journeys to promote understanding of the region's culture. Beyond her financial achievements, Barbara is committed to social change, particularly supporting impoverished communities in Nicaragua. Residing in Jupiter, FL, with her husband, Alvaro, her life blends professional success with a dedication to deep values and societal betterment.

Joseángel Domínguez, PhD

Founder and Executive Director

Joseángel Domínguez, born in Seville, Spain, is a Biblical Theologian and educational leader with degrees from Universidad de Sevilla and Pontificia Università della Santa Croce. He completed his Ph.D. in 2019, focusing on the Book of Obadiah's oracle of Edom. Joseángel served as the CEO of the Polis Institute in Jerusalem from 2013 to 2018, enhancing studies of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures. In 2020, he launched the CRETIO initiative and is currently the Executive Director of the CRETIO Foundation, promoting knowledge of the Holy Land through various projects. An author of internationally recognized books, he combines theological depth with innovative learning strategies.
